Why Itumbi is being held at Parklands Police Station - hivipundetv.com

Dennis Itumbi, the self-proclaimed Hustler Nations spokesperson and United Democratic Alliance (UDA) top blogger was arrested by detectives on Thursday afternoon while having a haircut in Kiambu’s Thindigua area. Reports from eyewitnesses, three men embarked from a Toyota premio car and drove him to Parklands Police Station.

According to a source at the Parklands Police, Itumbi, who has been a strong critic of the regime after falling out with the president is being held at the station for contempt of court in a child support case he currently faces.

In 2019, the children’s court in Nairobi directed Mr. Itumbi, who also leads Deputy President William Ruto’s social media brigade to pay a woman he had sired a child with an interim maintenance order of Sh50,000 monthly. In court documents, the woman said Itumbi deserted the child and has not been providing any form of maintenance, knowing she is an orphan.
